Checkout the great work completed by students at Riverside Elementary School #44. Students read poetry to become inspired to make their own versions of House Poems. Projects were divided by grade with Pre-K to 1st grade drawing photos and making a class poem; Grades 2 & 3 making their own poems and drawings; and Grades 4 to 6 making murals on bird houses after responding to poetry such as Maya Angelou's poem Still I Rise.
